In a unique collaboration between Margot McKinney Jewellery and Neiman Marcus, the Australian designer has fabricated a ‘shop in shop’, bringing the style, fittings and accoutrements of her Green Door flagship store, located in Brisbane, to Neiman Marcus’s Dallas Northpark, March – June 2022.
The Margot McKinney shop represents a first ‘activation’ for Neiman Marcus Precious Jewels, which is spearheading a project of profiling exclusive luxury collections in the store. As a result of this collaboration, the Neiman Marcus client may experience the tangible and immersive experience of McKinney’s luxury Australian flagship store – without leaving home.
Neiman Marcus Group CEO Geoffroy van Raemdonck toured the salon today and declared,

Margot McKinney’s work is celebrated for its use of large and dazzling gemstones, the finest Australian South Sea pearls and Lightning Ridge opals in her designs made through a unique process of what she describes as ‘painting with gems’.
Visitors will experience the bold beauty of Margot McKinney’s jewels within an intimate environment constructed to echo the green colour, timber detailing and sumptuous finishes of her Brisbane store, and have their choices facilitated by the designer herself. McKinney will travel to Dallas to inaugurate the shop, with its launch including a series of events for VIP clients, highlighted by a soiree at the home of CEO, Geoffroy van Raemdonck.
