A large and very significant kunzite gemstone inspired Margot McKinney to create a ‘timeless and enduring’ collier that would showcase its extraordinary beauty. The intense colour within the hero stone – which is completely saturated throughout its structure – led her to assemble a highly ordered array of gems that complement and highlight its stunning internal hues.

Galaxy was a centrepiece of Margot’s debut exhibition at the 2025 TEFAF Maastricht art fair in the Netherlands, and is one of four masterwork pieces created by her specially for the occasion.
